the shift

welcome to the deep work.

A winter descent for women who are ready to meet the parts of themselves they have outgrown, exiled, or ignored.

You already understand yourself well. You have spent years learning, reflecting, and trying to make sense of your patterns. You can name the ways you protect yourself, and you can describe the history that shaped them. Yet for all of your insight, something still feels incomplete. There are moments when the same reactions rise up, the same fears move through your body, and the same patterns pull you back into familiar territory.

Into the Dark is an eight-week descent into the places insight alone cannot reach. This season invites this deep work - as the days shorten and the nights stretch out, we are offered a natural pause, a moment when the world grows quiet enough to hear what lives beneath our own surface. Many traditions have turned toward this time of year for the same reason. Starting on the winter solstice, this group experience brings together neuroscience, nervous system awareness, creativity, and depth psychology to help you explore the parts of yourself that once felt too vulnerable to name. We know that these parts did not disappear but rather stepped aside, deep within, so you could stay connected or avoid overwhelm.

Our work is not about pushing ourselves into intensity or reliving past pain - we know this way of being will only push you deeper into collapse. Instead, during our exploration together, we will discover the depths of your experiences and uncover what your brain once learned to hide. We will open to the emotions, instincts, creativity, boundaries, and longings that were tucked away. We will find the truth of who you are now that you are capable of holding more.

Until you make the subconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate

The why.

Into the Dark was created for women who have done a great deal of inner work and still sense that something deeper is calling for attention. Many people reach a point where insight is no longer the thing that moves them forward. They know their patterns well and can explain exactly how those patterns developed. They have read, reflected, and spent years building awareness, yet still feel an old pull inside that does not resolve through thinking alone.

There are parts of us that never had the chance to come forward. These are the instincts, emotions, needs, and expressions we learned to tuck away in order to stay connected or avoid overwhelm. These parts moved into the background of our lives. This is what we often mean when we talk about the shadow - the collection of experiences and truths that once felt too vulnerable to bring into the open but now steer our lives unconsciously. That which we despise in others. That which we turned our backs on. That which we push away.

Winter offers a natural opening for this kind of work when we can slow down and reconnect with what we turned away from in ourselves. Our work is not to force anything to the surface. It is to create the conditions that allow these parts to be felt and acknowledged without needing to shut down or protect. When we approach this material gently and with curiosity, something in the system begins to reorganize. What once felt far away becomes available again. What once felt overwhelming becomes something we can stay near.

This experience is meant for the season of life when you are ready to move toward yourself rather than around yourself. When you’re ready to stop bracing so tightly and start living. We offer a structured, steady space to explore what has been living beneath the familiar patterns. In return, we ask for presence, patience, and honesty. Together, we will find clarity, depth, and genuine reconnection with ourselves and the world around us .

The how.

Into the Dark is an eight-week process that moves along a gentle pathway. As we move through the darker weeks of the year, there is a quiet invitation to turn inward and gather ourselves before the light returns. The work we do together becomes part of that turning, a way of meeting what has been hidden so we can move toward the new year with more clarity and connection. We begin by orienting to the shadow as something that developed through protection and adaptation. You will explore how the nervous system stores what once felt like too much and how the brain continues to shape your responses based on those early predictions.

As the weeks unfold, we step into the work of meeting what has been avoided. This is a slow and steady process, guided through imagery, collage, and somatic reflection. These practices help you access the deeper layers of your experience without needing to push or force anything to happen.

Once we reach the midpoint of the program, we begin to explore how these parts can return. You will learn how to approach them with enough presence that they feel welcomed rather than managed. This is where you start to feel the early signs of integration. Things become softer, clearer, and more possible.

The final sessions focus on bringing this work back into your daily life. You will identify small ways to stay in relationship with the parts of yourself you have reconnected with and name the practices that help you remain rooted in your own experience. We don’t breakthroughs as we know that is not how our brain and nervous system change. Instead, we explore a deep and steady shift in how you relate to yourself.

What you’ll experience.

  • Live teaching and guided practice blending neuroscience, somatic awareness, and creative shadow exploration in a grounded and accessible way.

Tools for staying present with inner experience instead of shifting into overthinking, shutdown, or self-protection the moment something vulnerable appears.

Interactive mapping exercises that illuminate how protective patterns formed and how the nervous system continues to shape what feels possible to express or feel.

Collage and imagery-based practices that help deeper material surface in a gentle, nonverbal way, especially the parts that do not rise through thinking alone.

A small, compassionate community of people engaging in similar work, creating a sense of connection and ease as deeper layers of experience come forward.

Concrete reflections and simple home practices after each session to support steady integration and continued connection with the parts of self being rediscovered.
